MRS. NORK IS OUT SICK TODAY:(

Period 1 Class:
-watch Bill Nye's Heat and take notes in your journals about the 3 types of heat transfer (conduction, convection, radiation)
-read thermal energy packet and complete questions. This was handed out in class on Friday and also posted on Friday's blog

Period 3/4 Class and LAB:
-same as Period 1
LAB: read through the Solar Cooker lab activity (posted on Fri and it will be given to you in class). Write a problem statement, IV, DV, control, constants, materials and procedure for the lab

Period 7 Class:
-same as Per 1

Friday, February 3 A

HW:
-Moodle vocab quiz due Tues, 2/7. Click here for quiz!

Period 1/2 Class and LAB:
-DDN (energy transfer problems)
-review KE and PE problems
-design the Solar Cooker lab
 
Period 3 Class:
-DDN (bike up a hill KE to PE)
-review KE and PE problems

Period 5 Class:
-same as Period 3, but watch Bill Nye's Heat dvd
